Safeguarding
The NSB Trust is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students and we work proactively to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are respected and valued. We maintain an attitude of ‘it could happen here’ and champion how safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.

Our Approach
We place students at the heart of everything we do. We believe every child should be protected equally, regardless of their background, context or needs, and we are committed to listening to and respecting their individual voice when making decisions in their best interests. Across The NSB Trust, our schools create safe, welcoming environments where students thrive and maximise their potential, supported by a highly committed, passionate and expertly trained team of staff.
We understand that children can be at risk of abuse by adults or by other children and are committed to creating a culture of safety that minimises the opportunity for any form of abuse (including all forms of child-on-child abuse) through training, education and robust response procedures. Across the Trust, we are alert to the signs of abuse, neglect and exploitation, and staff are highly trained to follow our procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice.
We recognise that our school is part of a wider safeguarding system and work closely with the Northamptonshire Safeguarding Children Partnership and other agencies to promote the welfare of children. Through this collaborative approach, we can identify concerns early, respond effectively and provide the right support for each individual child.
